![]() ![]() Just be professional and respectful and it should be an easy job to get used to. I stay away from drama and know how to communicate so thats probably what kept it good for me. Overall it was a pleasant experience on my end. Eventually you'll have to learn about alcohol because of customers but theres ways to learn along the way and others you can redirect customers to. Its a self explanatory job that doesn't take too much to understand. You get a certification, your uniform polos, and then you have physical training around the store until you get comfortable. Training is done via computer over the course of 1-2 days. You'll need to climb up the ladder to the very top while holding a box full of alcohol or bring a box down for stocking/a customer so be mindful of that if you lack upper arm strength like I did(this job will make your arms strong!). You have your pallets, you throw them onto uboats, scan the product and throw them onto the shelf. I have also called the customer service number on 3 occasions, sitting on hold for an hour each time but never connected with anyone. We would really like our money back, it is absolutely wild that no one at the store even called us back about this. All of this leads me to believe the crime was committed by a person or people who work there. Also - my name is not common and if IDs were checked by the employee, then it would be obvious that it was fraud. We reported to ****, and they are investigating - but they shouldn't have to if there is a tape of the interaction. I wrote emails to customer service, media relations and posted on **** and *********. She sounded alarmed, said she would check the tape and call me right back. I immediately called the local Columbia SC store and spoke to manager. I am on Mountain time, so I didn't see these emails until it was too late. 3 - 35 minutes later - "Your order has been picked up" standard email following a pick up order - Again, a very quick turnaround. Most orders I make (smaller than this one) take several hours, sometimes the next day. ![]() I am a frequent customer of my local Total Wine store in Phoenix and Scottsdale. It gave to the Charleston Library, a still more venerable institution. Bottom of email indicates the order was under my name ***************************** and charged to my husband's **** card (***************************)2 - 44 minutes later - "Your order is ready for pickup" standard email following up from the order - This is a quick turnaround considering the large order. The Famous South Carolina Society Passes into History - Features of the Great. A large order that, in my opinion, should be a red flag. I do not live in SC nor do I have any connection to the state whatsoever. On the morning of Saturday July 9, I opened up my email *************************** to find three notifications from Total Wine:1 - Thank you for your order (*********) - an order I did not make - indicating a pickup window of 11:00-1:00 at a store in Columbia SC. Schnucks agreed to pay 4 million as part of a settlement to resolve claims it used false comparison prices to advertise wine, spirits and other alcohol. ![]()
